Winfield Mt. Union Community School District High School Science Teacher in Winfield, Iowa
Winfield-Mt. Union is seeking a science teacher who is endorsed or is willing to get a conditional license to teach physical science, chemistry, physics, and more. This teacher would teach high school classes. WMU has class sizes of 13 students per class on average.The ideal candidate will be certified in these subjects or have the ability to qualify for a Class B license and work towards certification. The Winfield-Mt. Union CSD will be in a 4-Day school week during the 2024-2025 school year. Monday will be the day off or professional development day. Students will go to school 152 days while staff has 17 professional days. WMU has a full spring break and extended Christmas break. WMU is a K-12 building and a PLC school. Teachers work closely and collaboratively using data to drive decisions and make sure all students learn.
