As a Shopper Marketing Strategist/Manager – you will be responsible for leading strategic planning and execution of annual shopper marketing programs with our vendor partners to achieve Hy-Vee and vendor growth targets. You will also be responsible for communicating shopper programming plans and impact, primarily via program sell in with vendors, integrated marketing calendars, and post program reporting.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the marketing relationship with our vendor/CPG partners
Uncover, plan and help execute mutually beneficial marketing programs with our vendors
Use our first party customer data to provide valuable solutions, offers and promotions to our customers.
Provide goals, metrics and reporting for internal and vendor use.
Deliver on company and vendor goals and KPI’s
Work as an integral member of the marketing team, discovering insights to drive team decisions
Performs other job related duties and special projects as required.
Education and Experience:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience. 3+ years’ experience in field, retail or shopper marketing. CPG experience preferred but not required

Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near and far range with or without correction, normal depth perceptions.
Must be physically able to perform sedentary work: occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 10 pounds, and occasionally standing or walking.
Must be able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
The duties of this position are performed in a general office setting. There is constant pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects in a day.

Calculator, telephone, copier, Fax, and PC with Microsoft Office programs.
Has daily contact with office personnel, suppliers/vendors and the general public.
