Responsible for the oversight of all processes, employees and facility equipment at D&D Foods. Responsible for accurately fulfilling purchase orders for PDI and Hy-Vee Distribution. He/she will provide leadership and day-to-day direction to create and maintain an environment of exceptional service, sales growth, and maximum gross margin levels, while creating efficiencies.
Leads team by modeling, coaching, and maintaining high standards. Leads team effectively while using various tools such as performance appraisals to constantly improve service and performance.

Collaborates effectively to lead development, performance management, staffing, and retention.
Provides frequent updates and progress reports to leadership team and involves leadership team in decision-making for implementation of strategies, effectiveness and efficiency.
Directs and prioritizes multiple projects and tasks, staffing allocation and effort forecasting relating to current and future projects.
Provides recommendations on compensation for team.
Ensures all performance reviews and team HR functions are completed.
Ensures all relevant communication is addressed and disseminated to staff.
Oversees site according to state, federal and company regulations to ensure compliance.
Oversees facility to comply with both USDA and FDA regulations.
Participates in planning and coordination with the Operations staff.
Performs inventory on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Reports quarterly to D&D Foods Board of Directors.
Keeps current on industry trends in food items, equipment, and methods.
Reports to work when scheduled and works expected number of hours.
Performs other job related duties and special projects as required.
Instructing, assigning work, reviewing work, planning the work of others, maintaining standards, allocating personnel, and coordinating the activities of others. Selects new employees and acts on employee problems. Has the authority to recommend employee transfer, promotion, discipline, discharge, and salary increases.
Over five years of similar or related work experience. Previous management experience, demonstrating success in program development and execution.

Excellent communications skills, including facilitation and presentation within a corporate setting
Ability to develop rapport and credibility across the company, promote ideas and proposals persuasively
Experience with large scaled project implementation and project management is desired.
Must possess strong leadership skills; must have proven ability to achieve goals and deliver bottom line results.
Skilled in exercising sound judgment and initiative.
Must be able to physically perform light work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Must be able to occasionally spend long periods of time in a cold, wet production environment.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
