Wells Fargo’s Chief Administrative Office (CAO) consists of enterprise functions that work together to promote and protect the Wells Fargo culture and brand, and support our team members. Groups within CAO work to protect our reputation, tell our story, bolster team member engagement, connect with our customers, and bring new and innovative solutions to life. CAO functions include Commitment to Customer, Corporate Responsibility & Community Relations, Data Management & Insights, Human Resources, Marketing, Stakeholder Relations, and the CAO Integration and Planning Office.

This analytic consultant will be a key member of the Payments, Virtual Solutions and Innovations team. The individual will work closely with business partners within the deposits and credit card marketing lines to identify business growth opportunities and drive corresponding segmentation solutions to capitalize on the opportunities. The individual will possess a high degree of business acumen, insight, and excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate complex statistical findings and the business impacts to partners and senior management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide customer advanced analytics with focus on deposits, credit card and digital channels

  • Work with marketing and product partners to develop customer product profiles as well as messaging strategies

  • Analyze customer interaction and account usage data to identify key customer events and triggers that lead to customer purchases

  • Leverage Wells Fargo customer data and Big Data platforms to research and identify new data sources and data elements for customer segmentation, trigger event, and targeting.

Marketing leads the development of integrated marketing strategies across Wells Fargo's 90 plus business lines and national geography. The group is responsible for brand strategy and advertising, database and experiential marketing including the company's 12 history museums, integrated program and product development, market research and related customer analytics, and diverse segments strategy and business development.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling

  • 4+ years of experience with SAS or SQL, or other data management, reporting and query tools

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
