MASABA INC Warehouse and Assembly Support Lead in Vermillion, South Dakota

General JOB DescriptionPrimary responsibilities include the support of production and assembly teams by insuring that all components, consumables, and tools are received for production floor; shipping and receiving all small package and LTL trucks; inspect incoming shipments for damage or missing items; data entry of inventory receipts into inventory management system; conduct inventory counts;i closing of parts/warranty orders in ERP system; issuing of purchased material to work orders; ideliver all sheet steel and out-of-house components to appropriate staging areas for manufacturing team leads; management of shipping process for outbound parts fulfillment; assist paint personnel with the delivery of small parts to and from the paint shop; store distribute and account for all shop tools and consumable items; keep plant clean and manage dumpster pickup.Ensure that health and safety obligations are carried out by everyone working your department.Analyze work procedures to identify hazards; communicate workplace hazards and safety-related policies to employees; ensure measures are implemented to eliminate or control those hazards.Ensure safety operating procedures are in place and are observed.Ensure individuals working have proper safety equipment and personal protective equipment to perform their work safely.Counsel employees with safety related behavioral problems.Correct unsafe conditions and/or equipment as soon as possible.Curtail or stop work being carried out if reasonably believed that continuation of the work poses an imminent danger to health or safety.work experience requirementsMinimum of two years of experience in manufacturing warehouse environment preferred.Experience with an ERP (enterprise resource planning) software program required.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.i (Word, Excel, Outlook)Must be detailed orientated and have strong organizational skills.Must have strong inventory management skills.Ability to prioritize, pull and organize orders to staging areas.Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (i.e. forklifts).Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.Good hand and eye coordination.Good visual acuity.Ability to climb, bend, kneel, crouch and stoop to perform various functions of the position.Ability to reach with hands and arms.Ability to work independently.Must have excellent attendance history.Must be able to read and understand English.education requirementsHigh school diploma or GEDpre-employment requirementsPre-Employment Drug ScreenHealth Assessment Questionnaire or medical examination
