We're looking for someone who enjoys talking with people on the phone and asking questions to understand their needs. This position acts as an ambassador for all WesleyLife At Home departments by answering questions about all services provided. The Office Coordinator also provides clerical and administrative support for home health program management and clinical operations.

Please note: This position is not remote, and is expected to work in our Urbandale office Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

A day in the life of an Office Coordinator :

  • Answers main on-call number, determines caller needs, and identifies solutions. Transfers calls as needed and coordinates follow-up when multiple departments are involved.

  • Provides guidance and information to callers using in-depth knowledge of all WesleyLife services and departments and active listening skills. The Intake Coordinator is an integral part of the sales culture, acting as an ambassador for WesleyLife at Home.

  • Greets visitors to the Urbandale office and directs them as needed.

  • Uses the electronic medical record systems (EMR) to find information and answer questions.

  • Back-up to Home Health scheduling, program assistant, and pre-bill coordinator. Receives phone, faxed, and emailed referrals to Home Health and Hospice.

  • Maintains databases and enters data. Gathers information and prepares reports. Completes complex reports and mailings and prepares complex documents.

  • Supports WesleyLife at Home directors as appropriate and deemed necessary.

  • Builds relationships and networks with colleagues, clients, and community organizations.

Compensation:

  • The pay range for this position is $18.13 - $22.84 / hour The starting pay rate will be based on years of experience.

  • Daily Pay: Use this app to access your wages on demand.

  • Mileage reimbursement at 58.5 cents per mile
