Purpose: Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and proper control of transactions. Support service personnel in providing excellent service to Karl Customers. Serve as a liaison between customer and technician,
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Service: Ensure that each customer receives an outstanding service experience. Greet and acknowledge every customer, welcoming them to the dealership and assisting in the assessment of their service needs. Receive in-bound calls from customers requesting assistance or information about services, recording the call and important details. Keep the customer up to date on their vehicle while it is in the shop. Provide excellent internal customer service to other employee's and team members in the shop. Safely move customer cars as needed. Act quickly to address customer concerns. Always follow up to make sure customer needs are met. Help support a work culture that fosters and rewards excellence and promotes teamwork and collaboration. Keep management informed on all efforts.
Quality: Ensures accurate processing of customer charges. Manages the completion of all service transactions and the proper charges. Keep accurate records of all transactions. Meet established quality standards ensuring work is consistently accurate. Adheres to all company policies, standards, and procedures consistently meeting deadlines and goals. Track status of any missing paperwork or documentation and report to management when necessary. Identifies performance measures and metrics to monitor project progress and success. Keep shop manager informed of all problems and potential problems involving repairs?
Professionalism: Serve as a liaison between customer and technician, ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed recommended work is understood by the customer. Represent dealership at all times in a highly professional manner. Develop thorough knowledge of dealership history, inventory, and commitment to excellence. Learn customers' names and to address them by name whenever possible Application of Karl Way commitments when serving our customers and representing our dealership; drive to say yes, urgency, professionalism, personal responsibility, positive first impression, going the extra mile, eliminate problems. Correctly interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
Qualifications : High School Diploma/GED Service Drive experience helpful Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to listen carefully to customer, ask needed questions, problem solve and utilize a variety of tools to define the issue and provide appropriate information. Must be organized. . Basic knowledge of automobiles a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand and maneuver around office/shop for long periods of time
