To service both the external and internalcustomer by accurately and efficiently processing information by means ofsystems and procedures.REPORTINGRELATIONSHIP: Customer ServiceManagerESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Participate in training, embrace concepts ofand actively practice the STOP Safety Program fundamentals to aid AmericanPackaging Corporation's efforts to achieve a zero accident rate.Verify purchase order information withcustomers.Request customer numbers, specificationsheets from the appropriate departments as needed.Data entry of information into the AS400order entry programs, create item numbers, etc.Identify and collect all information requiredfor creating orders.Provide graphics department with orderinformation for artwork processing (e.g. structure, assigned press, etc.).Authorize and Provide Information forinvoicing all graphics related preparation, plate, and cylinder costs.Follow Up with Scheduling until acknowledgedhave ready date is acquired.Complete and supply all necessary componentsincluded in Final Order Job Jacket(s).Generate Final Order from AS400 with allrequired information for sign off by appropriate departments.Distribute order to appropriate departmentsand send out order acknowledgment to customer.Processing all changes to orders whenrequired.Create shipping releases in AS400 program,make any needed changes, track open shipments.Track open releases, verify finished goodsavailability, and notify customer of any quantity deviation.Generate account specific reports includingbut not limited to inventory of finished goods, raw materials, order status asneeded.If applicable, maintain Vendor ManagedInventory programs through weekly reporting to customer. Some programs also require that the customerservice representative place the orders for the customer's under specificguidelines set by them.Investigate all customer related inquires. Expedite information to customer, salesrepresentative, and/or manufacturing including, but not limited to theprocessing of price quotations, samples, brochures, or any other pertinentinformation necessary in obtaining or maintaining new business.Monitor aged inventory and communicateprocedures to customer's, and APC Sales team to ensure timely pre-billingand/or shipping of aged inventory.Professionally and effectively respond to anyand all customer complaints through following procedures:I. Retrieve required and appropriateinformation from customer or sales.II. Complete and distribute complaint formto appropriate departments, provide photos to APC's Quality department, andrequest samples from the customer.III. Follow up until appropriate dispositionof complaint is provided.IV. Provide corrective action to customer,ensuring satisfactory resolution.Investigate and provide the necessaryinformation to both external and internal customers as may be requested ordeemed necessary, which may not be specifically outlined above.Attend and participate in all scheduledmeetings (Continuous Quality Improvement, safety, special projects,departmental, etc.).Comply with all company policies andprocedures.Business travel (in frequent) required.Any other duties as assigned
