Job Description:

Summary: Responsibilities include: managing the various areas of the retrim department needed to properly attain good people management, production levels, and yields; supervision of production Team Members, as well as quality, safety andany additional assignments deemed appropriate by management for this position. Must work closely with the management team in achieving objectives, accept full accountability, accept assignments and day-to-day department responsibility - must be a team player; Also responsible for ensuring compliance with human resources & safety policies, food safety, sanitation and all other duties as determined by management.

Requirements:

Education: High School diploma or equivalency

Experience: At least one (1) year production experience within Tyson or equivalent industry experience; must have a general knowledge of production operations and techniques, food safety, product yields and USDA regulations.

Communication Skills:Good written & verbal communication skills - bilingual skills helpful.

Other: Maintain a good attendance (5 pts or less) and safety record and safety attitude; ability to take directions, lead, and motivate people; have a positive Tyson attitude and desire to work with people; problem solving skills
