SCE PARTNERS, LLC Hard Rock Hotel .and. Casino Sioux City Promotions Supervisor (Full Time) in SIOUX CITY, Iowa

POSITION SUMMARYTo provide support and oversight with the Marketing Department, including but not limited to the preparation and development of internal/external promotions for all areas of the casino property. This position is also responsible for writing promotional rules. In addition, this position also is responsible for participating and/or supervising staffing and execution of promotions and events associated with gaming systems, direct mail, Bonus Point system builds, on floor promotions and tournaments.GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES(This list of duties and responsibilities is illustrative only of the tasks performed by this position and is not all-inclusive.)Write all Iowa Racing and Gaming Submissions for promotional approval and all relevant reportingBuild and sustain professional relationships with external vendors through sourcing giftsCreate and oversee all promotional events through final approval regarding all collateralSupervise marketing coordinators and coordinate and assist marketing job dutiesFacilitate and oversee marketing special events, and promotions in property outletsSet-up and run the promotions, including emceeEntry of promotional builds using software for promotional kiosks and player tracking systemMaintain property promotions and events calendar communication and updates and distributes these calendars and spreadsheets to ensure that the most recent information needed to make sound business decisions is availableSetup promotional Hard-Wired quizResponsible for the delivery of prizes and having the correct prizes ready for the promotion/eventAssist in the planning of hosted events from inception to executionGenerate all inter-company invoices and coordinate with the finance departmentMust maintain the strictest confidence of all confidential informationMaintains a positive attitude toward company policies and assignmentsUnderstand and adhere to human resources policiesThis is a non-uniformed position, which requires that team members follow non-uniformed appearance standards while on dutySchedules appointments using Outlook, handles arrangements for meetings, notifies appropriate individuals of meeting detailsPerform other related duties as may be assigned.WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAbility to maintain a positive image for the company.Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of team members as well as outside contacts.Experience in planning and hosting on-site eventsAbility to review and comprehend all necessary documentationAble to effectively and efficiently move around work area. Casino experience a plus. Working knowledge of Excel and Word required. Attention to detail and accuracy. Maintain confidential information. Ability to lift 10-25 lbs.REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIESIn addition to the other duties described herein, every team member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:Ability to obtain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission license. Arranged for by employer upon offer of employment.Attend required training sessions offered by the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sioux City.Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team member's department.Consults with the appropriate individuals and maintains and effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with the Iowa Gaming Regulations and Internal Controls.
