We have an excellent opportunity for a Distributor Operator in Sioux City, IA. We offer competitive wages with a full benefits package. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Safely operate and drive truck equipped with tank to spray oil or bituminous emulsions on road surfaces.Minimum Qualifications:1. General education, grammar and arithmetic, GED or high school diploma or equivalent.2. Possess and maintain a valid commercial driverand#39;s license, medical card and clean driving record. Class B minimum requirement, Class A preferred but not required. Must have Tanker endorsement. Haz-Mat a plus.3. Ability to lift 50 lbs. a number of times a day.4. Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen.5. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.6. Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers.7. Previous truck driving experience (preferred, but not required).Duties and Responsibilities1. Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.2. Safely and properly perform maintenance (lubricating, fueling and cleaning) on oil truck.3. Safely and properly operates truck equipped with oil or bituminous emulsions. Connects hose from storage tank to truck tank and moves lever to fill pressure tank with bituminous liquid. Regulates burner to heat liquid and starts auxiliary pump. Drives truck at constant speed. 4. Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others.5. Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.). Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors.6. Ensure OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance.7. Performs other duties as assigned.
