  • Minimum of one (1) years practical experience working in a manufacturing setting


  • Associate‚Äôs degree in related field

  • Previous supervisory/lead experience

  • Strong product or process knowledge in welding and/or painting processes beneficial

  • Excellent people skills, interact with several people and departments daily

  • Good understanding of total manufacturing systems

  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Basic Computer Skills

This position is responsible for the pre-inspection of raw materials and the final inspection of vehicles prior to delivery. These processes involve the detailed inspection of product according to our zero-defect policy.


Position general responsibilities are as follows:

  • Inspect completed units and verify all functional and aesthetic requirements are met

  • Inspect machined parts, welds, welded assemblies, components, primer & paint application

  • Document inspection in ISO format and compile reports to report quality issues

  • Verify inspection forms and documents are filled out accurately and completely

  • Assist in data collection for quality improvement projects

  • Accurately operate and read measuring devices

  • Train and work in various areas of quality in response to production demands

  • Follow verbal and written work instructions

  • Pursue continuous quality improvements through Cost of Poor Quality initiatives as required lead and/or assist on any special projects, samples, customer complaints and manufacturing issues related to product quality as required

  • Root Cause analysis and Corrective Action implementation as required

  • Attention to detail necessary to adhere to quality standards

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

  • Regular attendance required

  • All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned


  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in a manufacturing industry


  • Associate or Technical Degree in a related field

  • 2+ years of experience in a quality-related occupation

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software

  • Effective verbal and/or written communication of quality concerns and status updates as required
