Position Summary: Establish Operation Sequence, select cutting tools, establish feeds and speeds, write CNC program, set up machine and run production to part print and quality control plan meetingproduction time cycles and quality requirements.Responsibilities/Duties:1. Select cutting tools and establish feeds speeds to meet production schedule2. Design & debug CNC programs to produce parts to print and meet production standards3. Produce parts that meet the required dimensional accuracy and surface finish4. Meet established scrap & rework goals5. Perform inspection of machined parts and document per quality requirements6. Direct & report defective materials or questionable conditions per company procedures7. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition8. Follow preventive maintenance as required on all machinery & equipment9. Perform preventive maintenance as required on all machinery and equipment10.Requires effective verbal communication skills11.Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as necessary12.Perform any other duties, as assignedSkills:Need to read & interpret blueprints, specifications, standards, etc. (Proficiency in GD&T a plus)Must be able to apply common sense when carrying out instructions.Proficient mathematical & language skills.Must be capable of using calipers, micrometers, plug & ring gauges & other metrology equipment.
