General Position Summary:
Responsible for managing, preparing, and cutting inventory of materials.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Operate cutting machine for prepping materials
Bag, seal, and identify materials packing them into kits.
Manage and record detailed material description.
Assist layup as needed.
Perform any other duties requested by management, including cross training in other areas of facility
Manage In-Process quality assurance within department
Specific Job Skills:
Experience using hand tools and ability to follow shop order work instructions.
Ability to safely, lift, load, and unload material from manufacturing equipment.
General understanding of basic machine shop equipment and its safe operator.
General math skills required ability to read/use calipers.
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
Machine Operation, and/or technical training in related field a plus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to precarious places and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate requiring hearing protection in certain areas. PPE is provided by AIM based on the employee’s position and exposure.
