Qualifications: Bachelor in subject matter, Secondary Teaching Certification
Job description: Plan, prepare, and implement appropriate lessons and activities based on students' developmental levels and learning styles in the secondary grades (6-12th). You must be willing to co-teach interdisciplinary classes in a multi-age setting and be familiar with project-based learning.
- Provide differentiation and support for all types of learners in ones subject areas
- Provide effective and actionable feedback to students work and inquiries
- Demonstrate best practices on differentiating instruction in all academic areas to support student learning
- Engage in curricular reviews, professional development, and curriculum design to support students and faculty
- Maintain knowledge of current and emerging content in ones academic discipline
- Enhance curriculum and student engagement with relevant lessons, guided practice and age-appropriate technologies
- Value and incorporate diverse perspectives in daily interactions with students and design a curriculum that fosters engagement, inquiry, risk-taking and confidence-building
- Utilize technology to support student success, especially Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Classroom
