For more information, visit and .Job Purpose: Supervises maintenance personnel and directs the modification, improvement and installation of high-tech equipment in a manufacturing facility to maximize equipment and facility productivity at minimum costResponsibilities:Provide leadership in Safety by ensuring self, department and direct reports are active participants in safety Training (meeting all corp. requirements), understand and follow all safety policies/work rules, participate in Safety and Ergonomic meetings(as needed) and actively promotes and works to improve the safety environment, performance of employees and ensures all safety training, initiatives and metric goals are achieved.Insure all new or modified equipment is reviewed from a safety perspective before putting into operation. Responsible for safe design of equipment and the facilities of the company and aggressively promotes safe work practices. (i.e. Training/Coaching, HAZMAT, Confined Space LOTO, Fall Protection)Responsible for the maintenance processes in the department that keep us successful and profitable. For example, Scheduling vs. Completed work is compared, Process improvement projects - Daily efficiencies - Run Speeds - Down Time - Safety - GMP Food safety - Predictive maintenance planning.Involved with the Reliability and Manufacturing Excellence team and helps establish and achieve goals including conducting PM audits. Develops and implements ideas to reduce costs in departments across the facilityMonitors machine operations to improve safety and detect defective operation and productMaintenance of parts requisitions and sign outs (including bill of material for project and parts research); ensuring that equipment changes are properly documented in the associated equipment manualKeeps maintenance and timecard records; recording of time worked and time spent on individual tasksAnalysis of reactions of equipment to variations in raw materials, product specifications, and design changes; customizing of equipment to meet present and expected future needsDetermination of equipment damage probability versus shut down for repair, installation and operational checks of new equipment.Working within request /order system to include reassigning priorities according to present time events and circumstancesRequirements:Candidate must have 3-5 years of Maint
