DescriptionStanley Consultants, Inc. is looking for exceptional people that want to make a difference and assist with disaster relief efforts. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA) Programs. We are seeking Construction Managers that would be interested in helping with recovery efforts on possible projects in areas such as Florida, Texas, Louisiana, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.In these roles, you may have the following general responsibilities:Conduct site assessments, and write damage descriptions, scopes of work to repair/replace damaged public infrastructure, and develop cost estimates for the Federal funding of the projects.Write Project Worksheets (PWs) for the purposes of determining project eligibility, scopes of work and estimating costs to repair or replace a facility/structure to restore it to its pre-disaster design.Provide technical, cost estimating, and disaster recovery and/or management services while supporting technical professionals.Interpret construction work to ensure compliance with contract drawings and specifications as well as FEMA Public Assistance policy and procedure.Conduct preliminary damage assessments (PDAs) in the field with Federal, State and local officials.Qualifications:Associate or Bachelors Degree is preferredMinimum of 5 years of experienceMust be a U.S. citizenAbility to mobilize within 48 hours to 72 hoursMust be able to pass a FBI background check prior to becoming eligible to deployPrior FEMA disaster response and recovery is preferredWillingness to travel#LI-RH1Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
