Our world headquarters is located in Plymouth, Minnesota with manufacturing operations in Litchfield, Minnesota, Mason City, Iowa, River Falls, Wisconsin, Reynosa, Mexico and Suzhou, China.
This position is located at our Mason City, Iowa facility. This facility has a combination of two businesses. We mix and supply custom mixed rubber compounds and have an active distribution center within the facility. This position is in our distribution center and this position will:
- Obtain parts from shippable locations to fill orders, after carefully matching products, lot & location numbers, customer, quantities and ship to information to pick tickets. Forwards information to the other departments, and prepares bills of lading, as necessary.2. Enter shipping data to Company database system and freight programs to record information and create labels for shipping and identification. Note all item data, including actual lot numbers and locations, bag/box weights, for verification and processing on pick tickets. Processes filings for orders requiring Customs clearance, and schedules pickups as applicable.3. Notify all necessary parties when discrepancies are discovered, or over-shipments and substitutions have been made. Reviews and responds to complaints. Provides interdepartmental communication concerning quality and customer issues, to clarify and facilitate on time delivery requirements.4. Transfer parts from initial receipts locations to shippable inventory stock shelves at times requiring use of a forklift truck. Maintains a clean and safe work area.5. Perform daily cycle counts to maintain and validate inventory accuracy.6. As required; Performs exit inspection of outgoing product to ensure customer requirements (APQP) activities are met, proper documentation is provided with shipment, product is properly packaged, identified, and ready to ship.
High School Diploma or GED is required
Forklift or other similar equipment required
Previous experience in a Distribution position is a plus
