Regional Medical Center (RMC) of Manchester, Iowa is seeking a Chief Executive Officer. RMC’s healthcare system is comprised of an independent twenty-five (25) bed Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinics.

The CEO will have an understanding of the changing healthcare environment and the challenges associated with the delivery of healthcare services in a rural community. These challenges will be addressed with innovative thinking, collaboration and accountability through measurement, assessment and continuous performance improvement.

The CEO will ensure the delivery of compassionate and high quality patient care, assess programs and operations, achieve financial targets and actively seek financial revenue enhancement and/or cost reductions.

The CEO will provide compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and oversee the response to reports and recommendations from regulatory and inspecting agencies – this includes State, Medicare and Medicaid Surveys and reports to the Board of Trustees.

The CEO is to be a champion for the facility aspiring to the attributes of servant leadership and with a focus on customer satisfaction, with the customer not only being our patients but also our physicians, employees, and community. The CEO will proactively pursue relationships and opportunities for collaboration within the local community and region to build mutually beneficial relationships. The CEO is expected to engage and communicate the hospital's mission and vision with members of the community to enhance its reputation and promote trust in the delivery of excellent local healthcare services.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare administration and/or executive leadership

  • Master’s degree in business/finance, healthcare administration, or related field

Reporting Responsibilities: Reports to Governing Board of Trustees
