Wells Dairy Inc. Warehouse Frozen - Days in Le Mars, Iowa
To safely and accurately receive inbound raw materials, pick orders, and store returns in the proper location in a -20 degree freezer and 38 degree cooler environment.
Primary responsibilities include:
Drive pallet mule, crane, fork lift, or turret in a safe and efficient manner.
Receive inbound loads against a Purchase Order accurately.
Pick orders for the plants in a timely and accurate manner using hand held scanners.
Work with radio frequency equipment and computer to input information in a timely and accurate manner.
Effectively Conduct, record and monitor weekly/monthly cycle counts.
Troubleshoot in Oracle system and correct/investigate inventory issues.
Load and unload trucks in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner. Keep work area clean. Floor must be swept regularly to limit wood chips and cardboard at a minimum.
Develop and achieve team goals that align with the company strategies through development of business expertise, positive business partnerships and continued process improvement.
Support SQF initiative by completing all inspections, records and tasks as requested/directed by Supervision.
Shift/Hours: Days with approximate shift time of 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Normal shift lengths of 10-12 hours.
High School Diploma
Fork Truck License, RF, and Computer
WMS experience, understanding of plant schedules, fork truck experience and detailed minded.
Interviews will be scheduled on the same shift as the open position.
