Corteva Agriscience UX Designer in Johnston, Iowa
We are looking for a UX Designer to work with our Supply Chain and Quality Testing IT teams. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on software and processes that support internal users in both the Crop Protection and Seed businesses. You will be responsible for working with end users as well as business teams to understand their needs and helping our IT teams deliver user-friendly and high-value solutions on both existing and future systems.
An ideal candidate will exhibit a passion for creating solutions that are user-friendly, intuitive, and consistent with best practices. We are looking for someone who is excited about the opportunity to work across multiple teams and many different areas of the business and has a drive to help build a UX practice in our IT organization.
This position requires someone who can lead by example, empathize with our users, and aid us in being a market shaping organization.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Facilitate product visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products.
Conduct usability testing and analyze user feedback and activity
Design and deliver wireframes, story map, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
Create prototypes which communicate the product vision to executives and clients.
Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
Lead user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs.
Collaborate with teams comprised of developers, business analysts and stakeholders.
Provide valuable insight into user interface design best practices
Extensiveuser interface prototyping experience, with proficiency utilizing tools such asInvision, Azure or Sketch.
A solidgrasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, usabilityand accessibility concerns.
Exposureto Agile Methodology and practices desired.
Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills required
Experience and EducationRequirements
Bachelor’sdegree in industrial design, interface design, interaction design,human-computer interaction or equivalent work experience.
2-4years design experience desired
