We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst – Soybeans & Wheat to join our innovative Seed Production Supply Chain Department. This role will report to Steph, who is fun, relaxed, and incredibly knowledgeable about varietal crops at Corteva. Your six peers of Planners and Analysts form a cohesive and supportive team in serving the business with efficient supply chain plans to execute on and #GrowWhatMatters. Responsibilities – What You Will Do:

How will you help us grow? It matters to us, and it matters to you!

  • Support production locations with managing packaging production schedules and balancing production demand with available capacity.

  • Lead and participate on innovative teams to enhance business processes to support supply chain effectiveness.

  • Ensure demand is fulfilled based on priorities to meet current segment targets or quarterly objectives.

  • Consider options to optimize asset utilization and make decisions regarding what supply to utilize to fulfill demand.

  • Monitor KPI’s to measure performance toward objectives.

  • Assist with training production locations on systems and scheduling processes, manage Management System work instructions, and ensure SAP system is updated to support SPSC processes.

  • Gain an understanding of other planning processes such as tag formatting / printing requirements, production scheduling optimization, maintaining outside seed requests for research/testing and direct material planning.

  • Evaluate available supply, demand and PSO outputs to create production runs to provide visibility of needs for conditioning, packaging and treating to production locations.

  • Utilize reporting and inventory/data analysis tools to facilitate better decision-making & product tracking.

  • Develop process improvements related to scheduling and quality/inventory characterization functions to improve supply chain effectiveness.

  • Participate on and/or lead cross functional teams to drive integration and process improvement.

  • Assist production locations with managing priorities and production schedules and calendars.

  • Validate data integrity of SAP, CTM, PSO and applicable systems daily and to accommodate changes to business processes.

  • Provide direction, support and training to production locations and 3rd party contract conditioners on production and system needs.


Requirements – Who You Are:

What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Agriculture, or similar field of study.

  • You have You have 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Business Analysis, Analytics, Business or other similarly related field.

  • You have incredibly strong computer skills, including working knowledge or ability to learn Excel, Access and SAP (or other Enterprise Resource Planning software) systems.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to multitask

  • You enjoy working collaboratively with a diverse mix of stakeholders and have the demonstrated ability to interact and work closely with peers in a team environment.

  • You are a natural leader and, as such, have the proven ability to influence without authority.


  • You have experience supporting Supply Chain/Logistics needs in the agriculture industry.

  • You have 5+ years of production or supply chain experience.
