Corteva Agriscience, has an exciting opportunity for a 3- month Protein Engineering Intern. Position duration is from May to August 2021. This position will be in Johnston, Iowa, reporting to Molecular Engineering group of Applied Science and Technology.

The Molecular Engineering group is seeking a highly motivated intern to contribute to the improvement of protein engineering and directed evolution methods such as phage surface display. In this lab-based internship, the intern will be exposed to a broad range of cutting-edge technologies and will work closely with a senior scientist in an industrial setting. This position offers an outstanding opportunity for an individual willing to learn protein engineering techniques and grow in a world-class Ag biotech industry.


Qualifications - What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 2 years of college in molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, bioinformatics or related field

  • Current cumulative GPA of 3.5.

  • Highly motivated, self-started, and ability to work in team settings. Strong organizational skills, good communication and strong interpersonal skills. Basic computer competencies required.
