Corteva Agriscience Business Process Expert Leader - Supply Chain & Manufacturing in Johnston, Iowa
Lead a team of IT ERP Business Process Experts (BPEs) responsible for interacting with business clients and IT business partners to understand business needs and map solutions into ERP systems for the Corteva™ Crop Protection and Seed businesses. Work with team members to evaluate proposed solutions, estimate effort and cost, and shepherd requests through the review and approval process. Monitor progress during the development and deployment phases and ensure solutions meet stated business requirements post release.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Provide dailymanagement and guidance to team members by providing feedback, supporting staffdevelopment, conducting performance planning and reviews; recruiting,selecting, on-boarding employees and contractors
Assess demand for ERPsolutions and resources including identifying the value proposition and successmetrics of each request.
Interact withbusiness clients, team members, and regional IT staffs to understand businessneeds and assign team resources as needed.
Participate in ITdecisions and initiatives aimed at identifying cost-effective IT solutions orsupporting organizational priorities.
Improve deliveryperformance through monitoring and analysis of team processes.
Facilitatecollaboration within and across teams to ensure alignment with intendeddeliverables and IT priorities.
Identify and addressskill gaps within the team through cross-training and knowledge transfer.
Experience with ERP systems and functionality,specifically SAP ECC, in the areas of either manufacturing, product qualitymanagement, environmental health & safety, global trade, logistics or sales
Experience with leading solution development,deployment and quality assurance
Experience leading teams in a distributedenvironment
Ability to communicate effectively, oral andwritten
Experience in managing IT projects of varioussize and complexity
Experience with IT Governance processes,procedures and policies
Experience working with ERP in the agricultureindustry is a plus
Experience with the Microsoft Office productsuite
Experience and Education Requirements
Minimum 5-10 years in a managerial role leadingdiverse, geographically dispersed teams
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
