Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity to join our team in the Associate Territory Manager role. Associate Territory Managers with Corteva have project responsibility to prepare them for the opportunity to manage a sales territory, collaborate with your district, and district sales leader. You’ll help customers and channel partners such as farmers, retailers, dealers, distributors, and end users identify needs and offer solutions in one of several businesses: Pioneer, Brevant, Phytogen Seeds, Corteva Crop Protection, Pasture and Land Management, Turf and Ornamental, or Pest Management. Territory Managers are the face of Corteva Agriscience, creating demand for and increasing the understanding of our products. As an Associate Territory Manager, you will work directly with our customers to gain the experience to assume your own territory. The responsibilities of a Territory Manager include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide technical assistance to farmers, endusers, or channel partners in the proper use and stewardship of ourproducts.

  • Consult with farmers or end users to evaluatepests, environmental conditions, product selection, applicationmethod, and application timing for our products.

  • Annual planning and forecasting with primaryaccounts, in conjunction with product teams.

  • Present technical information to key accounts toensure complete understanding of pricing, terms, programs, programdeadlines, regulatory changes, or other relevant issues.

  • Monitor results of product marketing programs viaregular timely reports and product planning.

  • Evaluate and pursue new marketing opportunities,working with Agronomists or field product technologists.

  • Develop relationships with trade organizations andcustomers to promote our products.

Qualifications

Our sales organization works vitally and independently with our customers, understanding their concerns and helping them find solutions through our products. This requires a combination of entrepreneurial drive, technical expertise, creative thinking, and relationship building.

We seek candidates with a bachelor’s or master's degrees in business, economics, agricultural science, or other related disciplines.

  • Excellent Interpersonal skills– demonstrated through in-person customer visits and written communication.

  • Technical aptitude – ability to learn technical skills and agricultural information to apply that knowledge in your territory.

  • The ability to collaborate and lead as part of a team – with a willingness to influence

  • A customer-focused approach – to sales and service.

  • Proficiency – with standard computer technology.

  • Mobility – must have the ability to work virtually and gain market expertise in potentially new geographies.
