Role Summary

This position will be a servant leader position to multiple product and platform teams at Corteva Agriscience. This leader will educate, mentor and guide teams to implement an Agile strategy. They will partner with development teams to deliver product objectives through iterative delivery; working with Scrum Masters, Delivery Leads and teams to continuously improve our Agile practice at Corteva

Key Responsibilities& Accountabilities

  • Educate employees atall levels on Agile principles, providing them with tools for implementing theprocess in their own work

  • Provide training on valuableAgile skills that lead toward the organization-wide adoption of Agilemethodologies

  • Mentor and guideteams into the Agile methodology

  • Responsible fordesigning a strategy for the organizational adoption of Agile

  • Implement Agileprocess, principles and practices across all levels and departments in anorganization.

  • Work with ScrumMasters, Agile Leads and teams to continuously improve our Agile practice atCorteva

  • Perform assessmentsfor teams on a regular schedule

  • Provide training ofthe Agile Manifesto and promote the 12 Agile principles for continuousimprovement

  • Establish assessmenttools for teams, Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, and Agile Coaches

  • Serve as a resourcefor the Corteva Agile Playbook and as an active member of Agile Communityevents at Corteva

  • Create and growcommunities of interest and practice

  • Partner withdevelopment teams to deliver project objectives through iterative delivery byoffering expertise in addressing blockers and dependency resolution

  • Contribute tocontinuous improvement and drive product quality and engineering velocity

  • Use iterationmanagement to deliver demonstratable results every sprint

Qualifications

Position Requirements

  • Certified Scrum Master,PMI-ACP, CSP, CSPO, Certified Team Coach, Certified Enterprise Coach, CertifiedScrum Trainer and/or PMP certification a plus

  • Project ManagementSkills leveraging industry standard Agile/SCRUM methodologies

  • Familiarity withAgile Management tools like JIRA, VSTS, TFS, etc.

  • Experience working ona team delivering a customer facing product

  • Ability to functionand manage in a matrix-ed environment

  • Excellentcommunication (oral and written) and collaboration skills

  • Experience in leadingand managing large Agile programs and projects, including extensive experiencein managing software development and system deployments

  • Experience inconducting Agile team training

Experience and EducationRequirements

  • 5-10 years of experiencein a Scrum Master role

  • Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering,or equivalent work experience

  • MBA a plus
