The Senior Project Manager is responsible for executing cross-functional, complex projects from design to release/launch. This includes leading a cross-functional team to deliver per the approved project design, and managing the schedule, budget, and scope
Typical work-related activities include:
Leads a cross-functional teams and is accountable to deliver projects on-schedule, on-budget, and per the approved scope,
Defines roles and responsibilities of project team and acquires project resources
Proactively follows up with others to ensure commitments are on track and stay on track; works with project team resources to make sure the appropriate approval on deliverables is obtained
Create, track and manage project schedules; recognize potential slippage and new dependencies; work with project team to make schedule corrections.
Manage all change management activities including documentation, obtaining approvals, communication, and changes to schedules and budget.
Acts as the hub of communication to project team, extended teams, stakeholders, and for escalation purposes.
Communicate project status and direction to Project Sponsor. This includes regularly distributing meeting minutes and status reports
Keeps stakeholders proactively informed/consulted with prior to sharing information.
Manage all project risks and issues to close
Provides factual representations of project issues and risks, packages the news with next steps, remediation plans, specific support requests of leaders, and appropriate knowledge of the issue to be able to answer predicted questions
Bachelor’s degree in technology area, change management or business management or related area required
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
A minimum of 5 years of project management related experience with a minimum of 2 years working in an agile environment required
Knowledge and experience managing projects using Agile methodology is required
Experience with managing complex, cross-functional projects and analyzing data required

Knowledge of LEAN methodology and knowledge of software development processes within an Agile environment
Strong analytic skills
Ability to create and proactively manage an accurate project budget
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment
Ability to recognize, manage and mitigate risks; find resolutions and make sure appropriate escalation paths are taken and solutions executed
Strong ability to manage change and adversity
Ability to lead large sized teams
Must be able to build effective teams; proactively handle conflict; handle difficult situations and people
Strong relationship management skills are critical
Proficiency in use of budget and program management tools
