The Digital Marketing Manager at Higher Learning Technologies will be responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on execution of automated marketing initiatives to support our business goals and objectives. This includes ownership of the setup, maintenance, and review of recurring and triggered marketing communications.
Additionally, this individual will maintain a current understanding of marketing best practices and apply them to the execution of our campaigns in collaboration with the sales and marketing team.The ideal candidate is equally skilled and enthusiastic and will work with our dynamic sales marketing team to build the campaign calendar and automations for activations and reengagement. This is an innovative role to drive the design, development, implementation, and reporting on automated marketing campaigns. You will creatively develop communications to support mobile + online sales, retain customers, and drive engagement on our online platform.
Build, test and deploy marketing campaigns including drafting, designing & editing copy, layout, links, and dynamic content; including images, GIFs, videos & written content
Conduct A/B testing for campaigns for optimization
Analyze campaign performance metrics and generate regular reports
Coordinate with the marketing team to build and manage the campaign calendar
Perform day-to-day marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns
Troubleshoots technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and other aspects of campaign execution, as required.
Ensure campaign delivery, performance and advertiser goals are being fulfilled as scheduled
Clean and maintain our existing customer databases
Stay up to date with email, CRM and automation trends, tools, and best practices that could drive results
Create, test and optimize campaign landing pages to improve the conversion funnel
Experience with tools like: MailChimp, SailThru, Mobile Monkey, AdEspresso, Google Analytics, Craft CMS, HotJar, or similar tools
Experience with HTML
3-5 years of experience in digital marketing
Familiarity with mobile and web apps preferred
Demonstrated experience in managing large and complex segments & sequences
Deep understanding of how email interacts with CRM?s, organic and paid efforts, via analytics and attribution
Keen aptitude for improving campaign performance using solid test & control fundamentals, data analysis, and identifying key business opportunities in the data
Proven ability to think strategically, making credible recommendations to clients that drive measurable results; identifies and pursues opportunities to grow business
Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written
High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
