Summary: The Graphic Design Intern role will be a member of a collaborative team and will be assigned to projects impacting multiple customer touch points. The Kreg Tool Creative Team consists of Graphic Designers and Content Specialists. The Creative Team is responsible for producing visual solutions to the communication needs of Kreg by using a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness. This includes initial creative concepts, graphic design, and page layout for both print and digital media. The Graphic Design Intern role will have tremendous exposure all aspects of content delivery and will contribute to many different projects.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist the Creative team by collaborating with product management, sales and other departments to develop marketing materials. Materials include web and dealer/retail communications, packaging, product brochures, sales sheets, email, catalogs, and more.
Collaborate with entire marketing team to ensure brand consistency in message, tone, design and execution in all materials.
Maintain accuracy of all creative assets and information.
Assist with team improvement opportunities if assigned.
Planning & Organizing
Education and/or Experience:
Junior or Senior enrolled in a Graphic Design, Visual Studies, Marketing, Communications or related program required
Other Skills and Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects to completion with deadlines
Strong computer skills with high level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills
