The primary role of our CSR's is to interact with customers, distributors, and sales representatives processing orders, providing information about products and services, handling/resolving customer concerns. DUTIES 1.Handles complete order entry process - Receives incoming telephone calls, faxes, or e-mails from customers, qualifies company ability to produce product and service requests, processes orders through computer system, and confirms customer orders. 2.Provides timely and accurate information to customer inquiries and questions pertaining to product and service needs. 3.Evaluates customer requests and responds with product availability and shipment/delivery information. 4.Accurately communicates product/freight quotations and pricing information to customers, in a timely manner. 5.Maintains customer related order files and records, including product and pricing information. 6.Monitors delivery dates and notifies customers of delays or backorders. 7.Works with other departments to ensure correct processing of orders and resolves customer order concerns. 8.Processes and assures resolution of returns, credits, warranty claims, and disputes in a timely manner. 9.Provides customer service to field based independent sales representatives. 10.Assists Sales Support/Marketing Manager with marketing projects relating to customer development (i.e. customer satisfaction studies or communication with customer prospects, etc.) 11.Projects enthusiasm about the company through positive interactions with others, including internal and external customers. 12.Makes continuous efforts to improve personal levels of professionalism. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to create positive customer relationships in which they place trust and confidence in the company's abilities. Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Office. Ability to learn enterprise resource planning software (TCM). Ability to work with computer order entry system, paying close attention to details and processing orders timely and accurately. Excellent public/employee relation's skills. Ability to communicate with people inside and outside company, positively representing DHI during exchanges in person, in writing, by telephone or e-mail. Must be able to manage multiple tasks/priorities in a fast paced environment and easily adapt to changing situations. Must possess strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information to customers, sales reps, and employees within the company and respond to inquiries or complaints. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form, including complex/technical information. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic accounting. Requires high level of organization, self-motivation and ability to work independently working with limited or no supervision at times. Capably responds to inquiries or complaints regarding specific product(s). Ability to type efficiently and accurately, 30-50 WPM. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
