QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA, Iowa Teacher's Certification are required; 5-12 AllSciencesEndorsement preferred, but not required.
- Previous K-12 teaching experience is prefered, but not required
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Demonstrate the ability to enhance academic performance and support for and implementation of the Districts student achievement goals
- Meet and instruct assigned classes (most likely Biology, Environmental Science or Chemistry A and B)
- Use research-based instructional strategies to deliver instruction that meets the multiple learning needs of all students
- Create a classroom environment that is conductive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of all students
- Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior
