Job Title: Marketing Communications AssistantLocation:Garner, IADepartment: MarketingReports To: Marketing ManagerSummary: Position will be an energetic self-starter who will assist in general marketing and communications activities as directed by the Marketing Manager for Stellar Industries and all its divisions and subsidiaries. This includes but is not limited to writing and editing, event planning, creative work, and some administrative duties. Must have strong writing skills, be able to work efficiently, be focused and attentive, be able to function in a team as well as have the ability to work independently without constant supervision.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist the distribution liaison to include helping manage the distribution website, newsletters and communications, lead management, and updating contact information. Offer marketing support to the RSMs and distribution including assisting with distribution marketing efforts, territory maps, co-op program, POS programs, meetings and training. Research, select, order and maintain promotional materials inventory with help of marketing manager.Assist with projects including routine review of the corporate websites and other marketing collateral for accuracy, content, current photo and logo usage. Help create and manage social media plan as well as maintaining and growing activities, including the blog. Assist with tradeshow planning and implementation and other event planning for the company. Assist with literature creation and maintenance of current items, both print and digital i writing and design.Assist in writing press releases and using current system to distribute and monitor.Assist with online advertising, web analytics, and SEO.General projects and assistance as identified by the marketing manager (may include photography, design and graphics work, writing, presentation creation, etc.).
