Dodger Academy Job Description:
We are a comprehensive, academic enrichment program that serves K- 5th grade students in the district and we are currently looking for positive people to help enrich the minds of our young Dodgers during our after school and summer programing by helping with reading and math activities, using pro-social skills and active supervision during all activities to maximize the positive effect the student receives.
After school programming is from 3:15 PM- 6:45 PM, Monday- Friday on all school days except for early releases or no school days.
(District employees that are hourly are not able to work over 40 hours per week however, you will still be considered for employment)
An ideal candidate:
May have bi-lingual capabilities; preferably in Spanish
Will provide building principal and 2 teacher recommendations
Will be flexible and have adaptability when assisting students and other staff
Has high quality classroom or group management skills
Must be willing to work with all students and lead with a positive example
Must be willing to complete all necessary trainings in a timely manner
Wages: High school helpers: $10 per hour
Adults (NOT employed in the district): $13.41
Adults (already employed in the district): your current hourly rate
