Join us!Typical Job Duties and Responsibilities:Perform all functions while maintaining a high level of safety awareness and adherence to safety policies. "Safety First" expectationIdentify hazardous conditions and practices. Identify potential hazards in existing equipment, machinery, facilities, or processes.Conduct training sessions for management, supervisors, and workers on health and safety practices and regulations as necessaryAdminister new hire orientation, OSHA 10-hour, weekly safety training/meetings, and classroom/field equipment training.Inspect machinery and equipment, such as lifting devices, machine guards, or scaffolding to ensure they meet appropriate safety regulationsTest and identify work areas for potential accident and health hazards such as toxic fumes and explosive gas-air mixtures, and implement appropriate control measures such as adjustments to ventilation systemsCommunicate with workers and observe their work, as well as inspect the elements of their work environment, such as lighting, tools, and equipmentOrder suspension of activities that pose threats to workers health and safetyAny and all other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS:Able to travel and support other sites.Able to be part of the on-call rotation for safety issuesHave good verbal and written communication skills as well as basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)High school diploma or GED3 years experience in safety, industrial field, or related area as a Safety Professional helpfulSafety Certifications/education helpfulCandW Services is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative?
