Title: Electrical PV&V Engineer - 72857
At John Deere Construction and Forestry an Electrical PV&V Engineer leads, plans, develops, and executes verification plans (testing and analysis) for electrical components, sub-systems, and systems on one or more C&F product lines. In addition you will:
Provide leadership to less experienced engineers on the planning and executing of electrical verification by providing direction on planning, technical decisions, and priority for one or more product lines.
Lead internal teams to drive methodology and efficiency improvements.
Provide problem solving of electrical issues on new product development and current production
Lead/Participate on PDP (Product Delivery Process) and PV&V teams as the Electrical PV&V representative, ensuring PV&V activities and plans are formulated and followed.
Travel as required both domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.

What Skills You Need
We need an excellent communicator with leadership potential who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment. In addition we require:
3 or more years of Electrical Engineering experience performing analysis, testing, and/or design work
Knowledge of environmental verification testing
Experience with electrical wire harness circuits and routing
Experience with electrical components such as batteries, starters, alternators, rocker switches, relays, solenoids, sensors, actuators, connectors, and controllers and monitors.
Experience working with suppliers in the application of electrical components
Experience in product verification and validation work
Understanding of serial communications
What Makes You Stand Out
A strong candidate will also have a strong background in EMC testing, six sigma, and reliability testing.
Design experience with sensors (infra red, ultra sonic, gyroscopes and inertial measurement units, pressure, temperature, etc)
Working with customers to define requirements for systems and components.
Ideally you will have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
