AgVantage FS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada. _ *PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT *_ Under the direction of the Location Manager, responsible for delivering products, accounting for all products handled, and all related Grain Facility operations. _ *ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS *_ * * Maintains a professional image and attitude. Delivers products to customers according to company standards. Maintains Grain Elevator inventory, maintenance, and housekeeping. Assures that all products are accounted for with either an invoice, or a delivery ticket. Maintains grain quality by conditioning the grain as needed. (Dry, Clean, Aerate, Etc.) Segregates and/or blends grain as needed to meet quality and grade specifications. Performs grain handling duties including bin cleaning, scooping and sweeping, bin measurements, transferring grain, fan and temperature monitoring. Helps manage all inbound and outbound grain shipments by truck and rail. Loads and unloads trucks. Performs minor repairs and maintenance as needed. Demonstrates time management and customer service skills. _ *OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS *_ Responsible for maintaining company equipment according to company standards, adheres to the company Uniform Policy, and maintains the appropriate professional image. Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. May be required to run local errands as needed. Performs all other duties as assigned. _ *REQUIREMENTS *_ Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and 1-2 years of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of inventory management and the ability to safely operate tractor trailer/tender truck equipment to meet company and DOT standards. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Basic math skills are required. Ability to work extended hours and on-call as business conditions warrant. Ability to climb and work at heights. Must have or have the ability to obtain and maintain a CDL license with required endorsements and any other applicable certification, license or permit as needed. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Frequently required to lift 51-70 lbs as needed. Frequently required to work in extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.) Frequently exposed to working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
