Kemin Industries Worldwide Marketing Automation Manager in Des Moines, Iowa
The Worldwide Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for the management of Kemin’s Marketing Automation platform, which is currently HubSpot. The Marketing Automation Manager is the chief evangelizer of marketing automation at Kemin. This role is also responsible for gathering, compiling and analyzing web and marketing data and conducting competitive market research, ensuring Kemin’s marketing department makes data driven decisions to improve marketing efforts.

Serves as the owner and administrator of Kemin’s WW Marketing Automation platform (HubSpot, Marketo, or similar).
Responsible for the implementation and management of the platform to support the Marketing business units in the generation, distribution, and reporting of leads in accordance with industry best practices and standards
Manages all technical aspects of Kemin’s Marketing Automation platform
Works with global business units to manage campaign execution using our marketing automation tool to handle lead inquiries.
Supports strategy, development, lead nurture, workflows and project management of marketing campaigns.
Partners with Sales and IT to manage the integration of Kemin’s Marketing Automation and CRM tools.
Establishes and maintains scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management.
Partners with the Sr. Data Analyst to create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities and effectiveness and business impact.
Research support documentation to find out answers for any task that business units aren't able to perform with the Marketing Automation system.
Aligns business unit objectives with marketing automation practices and tactics.
Reviews and analyzes data with business unit Digital Specialists to spot trends and develop lead scoring mechanisms that help guide campaign effectiveness.
Evaluates new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance.
Responsible for marketing automation quality standards, from design rendering to email functionality and list management.
Maintains data standards for compliance purposes, email deliverability, and to ensure segmentation standards are met through various content types.
Partner with Digital Specialists to:
Setup trigger-based campaigns
Send nurture emails at specific interval
Create/modify lead scoring rules to grade temperature of leads.
Create/modify targets, goals other business and campaign specific metrics.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, IT or related field. (MBA is a plus)
At least 5 years of work experience in digital commerce, digital marketing, and specifically with custom online stores and third-party online marketplaces
5+ years’ experience with leading Marketing Automation software, preferably Marketo or HubSpot
CRM experience is a major plus
A digital expert in web, email, social media, smartphones
HTML, light web development skills are a plus
Ability to understand how to utilize technology in identifying appropriate communication tools and/or distribution systems
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
Technically capable communicator with a desire to improve processes
Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the advertising and marketing fields
Business acumen in order to develop market strategies
Strong collaboration skills to work with interdepartmental disciplines
Project management skills that develop and follow a roadmap to better customer engagement
