Talent Operations Manager
The Talent Operations team is critical in building and scaling the operations infrastructure upon which Cornerstone’s talent processes will scale, as the company advances towards an exciting future. The Talent Operations Manager (TOM) will have a key role in the comprehensive design, development and implementation of a global operation strategy in conjunction with Talent Leadership and global partners. Programs include creating and implementing business process excellence across global operations, automation for accurate and efficient data processing, modernize data reporting and analysis, refresh compliance, immigration and audit processes. Additionally, the TOM will monitor the effectiveness of these programs internally and redesign as needed while evaluating against business needs and market conditions.
The ideal candidate will have over five years’ experience in HR process, policies, procedures supporting mid to large size employee populations. A strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills and excellent communication style with an ability to influence will be critical for this role. The Talent Operations Manager will not only be imperative as Cornerstone scales as an organization but as we continue to lead out with best in class practices for our clients.
In this role you will….
Partner with other Talent Teams to understand current pain points and lead collaboration toward process improvements
Evaluate, develop and implement automation and efficiency where possible
Update and create guidelines to ensure compliance controls are followed by all talent and external stakeholders
Recurrently review policies to ensure the business is remaining compliant with state, federal and country specific employment laws.
Continually assess and improve the use of talent systems to best support talent initiatives
Provide support and liaise with the business and employees on immigration matters
Maximize efficiency in reporting and providing data analysis to the business and ensure talent is maintaining SLAs of support
Learn all aspects of Talent controls to understand where we can build processes as well as exceptions
Identify opportunities and areas of ambiguity to solve challenges and create clarity with well thought out solutions.
Partner with HR leadership and other functional leaders to identify, recommend and implement opportunities for process improvement in alignment with HR
Consideration for privacy and security obligations
You’ve got what it takes if you have…
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3+ years’ prior HR/Talent operations experience
Extensive knowledge of and ability to manage Talent processes, procedures and policies
Knowledge of HR regulations, systems, reporting and recognition practices
Problem solving attitude to face ambiguity and challenges and develop and propose well thought out solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational, consultative, analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency in leading projects with multiple stakeholders to fruition
Technical knowledge of HRIS platforms and tools.
Excel and data mining expertise
Demonstrated HR consulting and experience liaising with the business as a partner
