As a Senior Phased Array Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for key aspects of the RF design and its optimization. This position requires innovation and creativity to solve technical challenges in large scale antennas and RF systems. You will be working in a collaborative environment with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver advanced antenna systems. In this role, your responsibilities include:* Defining specifications and requirements of RF systems and sub-systems for phased array antennas* Analysis and design tradeoffs of RF systems* Develop simulation capabilities of RF systems and sub-systems* Develop tools to model RF system behavior and validate performance* Develop calibration modelsExport Control Requirement:Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Basic Qualifications* BS degree in Electrical Engineering with research/coursework in RF/microwave systems or equivalent experience* 7+ years of hands on experience in research and development (aerospace, consumer, or medical)* Experience with RF systems design and tradeoffs* Experience with noise and linearity analysis* Experience with fundamentals of microwave engineering* Experience with simulation tools such as SystemVue and ADS or similar tools* Experience with radio architectures* Experience in coding with Matlab or similar languagesAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
