This role provides needs-based consultations to advisors and plan sponsors in the small and medium plan market. It is a strategic partner to our advisors to improve and deepen our relationships. This role actively promotes our new tools and services.

+ + Consult with the plan sponsor and the advisor on plan design, investments, services and new opportunities.
Annual Plan level reviews.
Problem solving complex issues.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required and 4+ years professional work experience (qualified plan experience needed).
Strong communication and presentation skills required.
Must be able to coordinate a large volume of client/advisor activities.
Strong understanding of plan and contract documents, investments, processes, and procedures.
Licensing are required based on state/federal laws and/or company policy in accordance with current licensing policy:
Successful Registration as an Investment Company Products/Variable contracts Limited Representative (FINRA Series 6 or equivalent and FINRA Series 63) within 5 months of employment.
Must become an associated person with Principal Securities.
Resident Life and Health appointment must be attained within 2 months of employment.
