Location: DES MOINES, IA - HYBRID

We are excited to announce the opportunity for an SENIOR IT LEADER OF END USER SUPPORT to join our innovative client company organization. You'll be responsible for optimizing technology interfaces and tools for all users, combining technical expertise, strategic leadership, and visionary thinking to enhance operational efficiencies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for end user computing.

  • Lead a team of end user computing specialists.

  • Incorporate cutting-edge technologies and solutions to improve productivity.

  • Manage the development and maintenance of end user computing infrastructures.

  • Support a security-first mindset and adhere to cybersecurity protocols.

  • Establish exemplary user support protocols.

  • Oversee vendor partnerships and manage service agreements.

  • Administer the budget for end user computing.

  • Collaborate with other IT divisions and business units.

  • Lead initiatives focusing on continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

  • At least 8 years of progressive IT experience.

  • Expert knowledge of key end user computing technologies.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strategic and analytical thinking abilities.

  • Experience in formulating and executing IT strategies.

  • Ability to negotiate and influence effectively.

  • Due to the financial nature of this role, a credit and criminal background check is required.

Requirements • Demonstrable experience in a Help Desk Manager role or similar.

• Proficient in Database management and Microsoft Suite.

• Strong knowledge of networking principles and practices.

• Familiarity with Active Directory, its management and application.

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair computer hardware issues.

• Experience in configuration management and maintaining system standards.

• Proven track record in managing deployments and ensuring smooth operations.

• Expertise in deskside support and providing solutions to end-users.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
