Compressor Controls Corporation Sales Operation Manager in DES MOINES, Iowa

SUMMARY Working closely with the Director of Commercial & Sales Operations, the Sales Operations Manager will ensure processes and tools contribute to the overall goals of the organization by closely aligning with the Leadership Team and their corporate direction. This role will use Lean tools, facilitation skills, change management skills, and analyticsto drive improvements in business objectives to increase business productivity and consistency. The Sales Operations Manager will exhibit genuine interest in solving work problems through proactively driving change, asking questions, and clearly communicating and collaborating both internally and externally to grow the business. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Listed in order of relevance: Adapts to and supports strategic company initiatives to move the business forward. Owns and manages the Order Entry to Invoice process including all tools, processes, and personnel. Manages and audits sales tools including CRM, ERP, and other internal programs for correctness, data accuracy, and improvement opportunities. Ensures information across data repositories and tools align with financial and company data requirements. Sales enablement activities including account manager KPI tracking, channel partner KPI tracking, sales methodology training, and sales process ownership and management. Participates, presents, facilitates, and/or leads assigned process improvement events (KAIZEN) around areas in line with strategic company goals using methods of culture-appropriate team building, team energizing, data gathering and analysis, problem solving, and project management. Monitors improvement program progress of improvement projects to ensure timely action, appropriate management support, and achievement of expected benefits. Uses appropriate measurement, analysis and evaluation methods to accurately identify and document process improvements. Coordinates with related departments and functions to assure appropriate information flow and understanding of overall project or process improvement direction. Supports sales target setting and forecasting activities. Supports Supply Chains SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations, and Planning) processes. Responds to change productively and handle other duties as required. Follows all company safety policies and procedures. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related degree required. 6+ years of progressively responsible work experience required. Experience with project or program management including scoping of requirements, resources, and timelines required. Proven experience showing measurable results to impact financial improvement required. Experience with Lean tool kits, Kaizen,and Six Sigma Black Belt projects preferred. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Skilled in public speaking with different levels and types of audiences and skilled in tailoring a message to address the varying concerns of the audience members. Skilled in assessing situations and processes based on KPIs and organizational competencies Skilled in engaging and coaching a group in a timely and structured fashion Knowledgeable in the collection and analysis of data for determining improvement strategies. Demonstrated skills in influencing and motivating others. Ability to read, speak, and write in English required. WORKING CONDITIONS The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
