Valley View Village, a 79-bed campus, is seeking a dedicated Sales/ Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will nurture relationships with potential residents and their families, as well as network with various community partners and referral sources to share our history and vision. You will develop and implement a comprehensive strategic marketing plan including social media, referral source development, community outreach, internal marketing, advertising, public relations, and events.

This position requires a high degree of interpersonal relationship skills and entrepreneurial creativity. Our ideal candidate has prior experience in training, sales management and development of staff, and the ability to handle a variety of tasks in a professional, prompt manner. This person also must exhibit strong analytical skills and the intellectual capacity to break down a problem or situation into its component parts, identifying implications, timeframes and sequences.

This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working a varied schedule.

Sales/ Community Outreach Coordinator responsibilities:

  • Achieve/surpass established sales goals and make recommendations to meet/ exceed those goals.

  • Develop leads through community outreach and networking; respond to new leads in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with Executive Director and Housing Director to ensure information is communicated through the admissions process.

  • Make community outreach calls to healthcare professionals and community-based referral sources.

  • Create print and digital marketing communications and materials.

  • Develop thorough and accurate marketing budgets.

  • Organize, coordinate, and assist in planning special events.

  • Ensure contacts are recorded and maintained in the database.

  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

Sales/ Community Outreach Coordinator skills and requirements:

  • Prior marketing experience required.

  • Ability to keep updated on current marketing trends relating to senior living, continuing care, and healthcare reform.

  • Strong organizational, preparation, and flexibility skills.

  • Initiative, sound judgment, public speaking and leadership skills.
