As a Retirement Specialist for Principal’s Retail Annuities team you’ll share your Annuity product knowledge with our valued clients.

Educate clients by answering inbound phone inquiries about general product knowledge and maintenance of accounts.
Identify and pursue cross sale opportunities.

Associates degree or equivalent customer service experience required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Organizational and telephone skills.
Results-oriented and able to work in a team environment.
Maintain strict confidentiality guidelines.
Requires basic computer skills with the ability to multitask efficiently navigate within numerous software and web applications.
Ability to acquire strong knowledge of business unit products, processes and systems.
Ability to wear a telephone headset and sit for extended periods.
To be available to our clients, the hours for this role aren’t always traditional business hours. Our department is staffed to help callers Monday through Friday from 7:00 am - 6:00pm CST. If you’re interested in this role, you’ll need to be flexible and available for shifts during these hours to meet customer needs. But the good thing, there’s additional pay for shifts ending at 6:00pm and you’re compensated for the entire shift.
