We are hiring a Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant with prior public sector and/or ERP experience to demonstrate and present our NetSuite for Government solution during the pre-sales process to prospective Cities and Counties across the United States.

The Solutions Consultant provides direction, education, and knowledge in how to best apply NetSuite for Government’s functionality and benefits to City and County operations. This is done through both onsite & web demonstrations and presentations at introductory and full capability levels. This position will also be supporting our application sales representatives both onsite and remotely as needed. Responsibilities

What you will do:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality standard Oracle NetSuite for Government presentations and demonstrations.

  • Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction, and Oracle solutions.

  • Provide presales technical/functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer happiness with minimal direction.

  • Act as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants and Application Sales Representatives.

  • Accurately understand, deliver and articulate Oracle’s State and Local value propositions to local government agency prospects and decision-makers.

  • Ability to work in a growing business unit while still working within Oracle’s overall sales/demonstration parameters.

  • Assist and collaborate with Sales Operations & Product teams to review and respond to RFx technical requirements.

  • Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.

  • Ability to stay up to date on Public Sector ERP competitive landscape and technology.

  • Be a thoughtful and caring human and team member.

What you’ve done:

  • 5+ years experience demonstrating ERP software solutions or experience demonstrating to local government stakeholders.

  • Preferably have experience using NetSuite, an ERP solution or have worked for local government in a finance capacity.

  • BS degree or equivalent experience.

  • Relevant computer applications or database/tools.

  • Showed strength in one multi-user operating system.

  • Detailed knowledge of system and application design.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques.

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments.

  • Ability to travel as needed, but up to 75%.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $37.64 to $76.49 per hour; from $78,300 to $159,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
