Summary:

The Global People Operations team strives to create and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. Leading with care and empathy, we develop efficient and simple people processes, systems, policies, and programs. We deliver data that is useful and accurate to create People-related strategies across the business. We manage people knowledge and build project management capability across our company. Our work also ensures Facebook remains protected and compliant. We strive to ensure employees feel heard and given the resources and support they need during the most important moments during their careers.This individual will work as a client partner with the Corporate Development Integration Team (Mergers & Acquisitions), HR Business Partners, Employment Law Team, and cross-functional HR teams to lead a wide variety of operational projects, processes, systems, and cases as a part of the People integration process. The ideal candidate is highly motivated with a positive attitude, and exhibits patience, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem solving.

Required Skills:

  1. Partner with M&A/Integration team, HRBPs, People Operations, Contingent Workforce, Recruiting, Global Mobility, Immigration, Legal, IT, Facilities and other teams to manage integration efforts for the M&A experience globally

  2. Drive HR Diligence, serve as the main People@ contact for target, track actions with cross-functional teams through status updates

  3. Manage communications (internal & external) throughout deal life cycle with all People@ stakeholders

  4. Develops People best practices on M&A processes including benchmarking with other companies, soliciting feedback and driving action to improve

  5. Deliver an exceptional transition experience for employees of all levels coming from acquired companies

  6. Responsible for improving the People Operations playbook and process plans for Due Diligence and Integration

  7. Manage ongoing processes to ensure data and process dependencies with downstream systems and reporting are managed effectively

  8. Lead effort on reporting and analytics based on organization needs and driving insights for Corporate Development & HR Leadership using existing dashboards, HRIS data, and leveraging our people data team

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years People Operations/Human Resources experience

  2. 6+ years of experience driving cross-functional global projects independently and collaboratively

  3. Demonstrated experience in strategic thought leadership, stakeholder management, and collaborate effectively across the organization and influence partners at all levels to achieve results

  4. Experience exercising independent judgment and discretion while utilizing company policies and practices to determine appropriate action

  5. Experience handling sensitive employee experiences with discretion and confidentiality

  6. Experience standardizing integration processes and documenting for future usage

  7. Demonstrated experience to work professionally and discreetly with extremely confidential information

  8. Communication skills and experience handling sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy

  9. Experience dealing with ambiguity at all times, and understanding and reacting quickly to changing priorities even when not all the information is available

  10. Experience in customer service and proven experience performing in fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience at a fast-paced, high growth Tech company

  2. Experience with Salesforce and Workday (or alternate HRIS system)

  3. Understanding of M&A space including experience with divestitures, delayed transfers and integrating People culture

  4. Global experience working internationally, broad understanding of country and business nuances

  5. Bachelor's degree
