Aerotek General Production Operator in Des Moines, Iowa

Currently hiring for a general production and operator in a manufacturing setting. The position will be a direct placement, and will be on the 2nd shift. Great benefits, and lots of room to grow. General Production and Machine Operator


  • Keep records and logs associated with operations onto Feed Energy's computer system.

  • Simple data entry and paper work once finishing batch of product.

  • Prepare machinery for operation.

  • Operate and attach valves and pumps for production to move product between rail car tanks to the tank that mixes product and back to tanker trucks.

  • Monitor temperatures, pH, and quality of product.

  • Transfer finished product to tanks.

  • Unload and load trailers and rail cars with liquid based product.

  • Operate shag truck to transport truck to yard.

  • Follow safety rules by inspecting safety equipment.

Pay starts at $19.85, and there will be room to grow!

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

2 years of general production, general labor or farmhand experience.

Lift up to 50 to 75 pounds

6 months of computer data entry experience
