Description We're looking for a Financial Analyst with effective communication skills. The ideal candidate for this position enjoys working as part of a team. In this role, you will conduct financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Daily operations will also consist of advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. What you get to do every single day

  • Support Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis, as well as P& L forecasting

  • Recognize potential risks and opportunities while analyzing performance to date

  • Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are properly executed

  • Have a thorough understanding of internal and external drivers and be able to explain how they are impacting performance and trending

  • Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

  • Enable successful Business Intelligence (BI) to deliver valuable foresight and decision support

  • Compose and oversee forecasting reports

  • Develop monthly reports to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required

  • Work closely with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close processes

  • Flexible individuals comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations

  • Ensure business partners handle their resources by tracking monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations Requirements - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

  • Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

  • 2+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

  • Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is ideal, but not required

  • Practical knowledge in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

  • Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently

  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills

  • Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
