Job Brief

The Commercial Banking Product Manager is responsible for product management and strategic focus for key products and services.

Job Summary:

This position recommends product strategy based on assessment of competitive environment and new opportunities and may also lead project teams.

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:

• In coordination with Commercial Banking Product Development Officer, participate in treasury product development and enhancement initiatives from identification of new products to inception of the service in conjunction with operations.

• Managing a portfolio of basic commercial products as assigned by the supervisor

• Completing required documents for new products, including market analysis and cost justification, for submission to the Project Steering Committee

• Maintaining documentation for Treasury products, including product manuals, marketing sheets, and fee schedules

• Briefing and training the bank sales staff on new products, product enhancements, and competitive landscape

• Create and maintain department and product reports to monitor income, expenses, volumes and other important data over time

• Coordinate meetings with current and potential vendors for product demonstrations and update meetings

Education and/or Experience:

• 5+ years Treasury Services or Bank Operations experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or other related field

• Experience researching and developing new products and services

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of general banking operations and regulations
