We are actively seeking an Associate Accountant to join the mutual fund tax team. The team which has responsibility for oversight of all outsourced tax work, establishing tax policies and controls and financial analysis and interpretation of regulated investment company tax accounting information for 100+ mutual funds and our growing exchange-traded funds (ETF) business.
We are looking for someone that is self-motivated and actively participates in the maintenance, preparation and analysis of financial information related to mutual funds and ETFs.
This role requires strong collaboration across the team as well as department. The work includes extracting and compiling data, research, analytics and communication with internal and external business partners. You would also assist in the development, administration, maintenance and analysis of accounting procedures to ensure the integrity of information and protection of capital.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience required.
Must have strong problem solving, leadership and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills required.
Must have good interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
Demonstrates the ability to accept and adapt to a changing environment.
Strong Excel capabilities strongly preferred.
